Using the repository
With ReSeeD, we provide a central research data repository for Ruhr University Bochum.
Who can use this repository?
All RUB reaserchers can log in to this repository using their LoginID.
External researchers (e.g. from collaborative projects) can register via their ORCID and get permission to work on given datasets.
Free quota
In ReSeeD you have a free quota per user of 50 GB in draft (editing mode) and 250 GB in "Archive". There is no limit for openly published data. Shared access to data in ReSeeD is possible. As a user, you can manage third-party access at dataset and file yourself.

We are developing this repository in collaboration with researchers to make sure it is fully attuned to their needs.

In the repository, you can describe your data with metadata according to the DataCite schema.
Subject-specific
The integration of subject-specific metadata schemas, for example based on NFDI developments, is being planned.
Interfaces
The system interfaces with its own S3-compatible storage.
