The Advisory Board will advise the RDS team, which consists of employees from the University Library and IT.SERVICES, on the strategic orientation and further development of infrastructures and services for research data management at RUB.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>RDS is delighted that Prof. Dr. Nina Babel, Prof. Dr. Silvana Botti, Prof. Dr. Frederik Elwert, Prof. Dr. Thomas St\u00f6llner, and Prof. Dr. Andreas Vogel have agreed to join the Advisory Board at the invitation of the Vice President for Research and Transfer, Prof. Dr. G\u00fcnther Meschke. The members bring special expertise in the field of research data management, particularly through their involvement in NFDI consortia (see <a href=\"https:\/\/researchdata.ruhr-uni-bochum.de\/en\/nfdi\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">RUB's participation in NFDI<\/a>) or as principal investigators in information management (INF) projects of collaborative research centers. In addition to the scientific members, the heads of the University Library, Dr. J\u00f6rg Albrecht, and IT.SERVICES, Dr. Sascha Kwasniok, are also part of the Advisory Board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At its inaugural meeting on 4 December 2025, the board elected Prof. Dr. Silvana Botti as spokesperson for the advisory board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Together with the newly founded <a href=\"https:\/\/researchdata.ruhr-uni-bochum.de\/en\/fdm-netzwerk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">RDM Network at RUB<\/a> , the Advisory Board will ensure feedback on key FDM services and infrastructures with researchers at all levels and in all areas of work at RUB.
