The RDM Advisory Board of RUB

In December 2025, the RDM Advisory Board was established at the Ruhr University Bochum (RUB). This body is composed of dedicated researchers from RUB with particular expertise and interest in Research Data Management (RDM). The members represent various academic disciplines and are active as members of NFDIconsortia or as principal investigators in information management (INF) projects within collaborative research centers. In addition, the heads of the University Library and IT.SERVICES are represented on the board.

The Advisory Board advises the team Research Data Services (RDS) on the strategic direction and further development of RDM infrastructures and services at RUB. The goal is to make transparent and forward-looking decisions in order to provide the best possible support to researchers at RUB in the sustainable and efficient management of research data.
