Under this year's motto ‘Into the Data Garden - Let your research data bloom!’’, we are dedicating this nationwide day of action, on 12th November, to the various aspects of research data management.

The morning programme is coordinated by the state initiative for research data management fdm.nrw:

1:00 p.m. – 2 p.m.  FAIR data in interdisciplinary plasma science, the CRC 1316 | Prof. Dr. Achim von Keudell

SFB spokesperson Prof Dr von Keudell gives a look behind the scenes of the CRC 1316 and explains how FAIR research data is created in his project through organised research data management. 

The INF project in the CRC 1316 aims at educating the researchers of the CRC regarding data storage awareness as well as contribution to a research data management. In addition, working groups were formed in coordination with the Plasma Physics Section of the German Physical Society to develop metadata standards for the individual scientific areas of CRC 1316. The presentation is intended to illustrate the various aspects of the activities of CRC 1316.

For researchers who would like to actively use the RUB Research Data Management System, the Research Data Services team offers a demonstration of the ReSeeD programme followed by a hands-on workshop.
