🎓️ The NFDI-MatWerk Summer School 2026, held at Ruhr University Bochum (RUB), recently brought together researchers from the fields of materials science and engineering to explore and discuss the crucial role of research data management. Organized by NFDI-MatWerk, the event provided a platform for exchanging best practices and innovative approaches to the effective management of research data. On Monday, the Research Data Services (RDS) team at RUB stepped in at short notice to provide an introduction to research data management and discuss the various challenges involved in its implementation. We sincerely thank NFDI-MatWerk for the invitation and the opportunity to contribute to this event.
