Tag der Forschungsdaten in NRW Research Data Day

Since 2021, the state initiative for research data management fdm.nrw and the universities in Nort Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) have been organising an annual day of action for researchers in NRW to raise awareness of the aspects involved in handling research data and to draw attention to current developments in research data management.
The current programme for 2025 will be uploaded to this page in due course.

FAIR data in interdisciplinary plasma science, the CRC 1316

SFB spokesperson Prof Dr von Keudell gives a look behind the scenes of the CRC 1316 and explains how FAIR research data is created in his project through organised research data management.

The INF project in CRC 1316 aims to sensitise the CRC's scientists to data storage and to contribute to well-structured research data management. In addition working groups have been formed in coordination with the Plasma Physics Section of the German Physical Society to develop metadata standards for the individual scientific areas of the CRC 1316.  The presentation will illustrate the various aspects of the activities of the CRC 1316 with regard to research data management.
