Research data are generated in almost every project – but what happens to them afterwards? Do they remain on a hard drive, end up in a project folder, or get published in a way that allows others to find, cite, and reuse them?

During RUB Open Science November 2026 , RUB researchers can explore exactly these questions. The Research Data Services (RDS) team, as part of RUB’s Open Science Working Group, contributes several offers related to Open Data and will demonstrate how open research data can be successfully implemented in practice.

Please note: The events in November offer only a glimpse into the services provided by RDS. Throughout the year, RDS supports the RUB community with questions related to publishing research data – from selecting a suitable repository and curating data in RUB’s institutional research data repository, ReSeeD , to addressing specific questions arising from everyday research practice.
