The research data repository at Ruhr University Bochum ReSeeD has recently been listed in the Registry of Research Data Repositories (re3data) . Re3data is a globally recognized directory for research data repositories across all disciplines and supports researchers in finding suitable infrastructures for publishing and archiving their research data. ReSeeD's entry in re3data: https://doi.org/10.17616/R31NJNW2

When selecting a suitable data repository, OpenAIRE, the European open science infrastructure for linking publications and research data, recommends the following procedure :

First, a discipline-specific repository should be used. Recommendations from NFDI consortia are very helpful when searching for discipline-specific repositories, but a search in the re3data directory can also be successful. If no discipline-specific repository can be found, an institutional repository is a good option – for researchers at RUB, this means ReSeeD. Alternatively, general repositories such as Zenodo can be used. Important selection criteria include clear terms of use, the assignment of persistent identifiers (e.g., DOI), external certifications (especially for non-institutional repositories), and support for FAIR principles.

Did you know? A comprehensive upgrade from ReSeeD 1 to ReSeeD 2 is currently being prepared to improve performance for large and complex data sets. The maintenance period is planned for early February . During this time, the service may be temporarily unavailable. Current status information: https://rdms.rd.ruhr-uni-bochum.de/
