Registration is already open - the RDM Curriculum of the University Alliance (UA) Ruhr has kicked off the summer term with a diverse, cross-campus program. Through the end of September, you can expect a wide range of practical workshops — designed for researchers at all career stages, while also open to all RUB staff who work with research data or support such work.
New: More time for your questions – Workshop on data protection
The highly popular workshop on data protection and informed consent, which launched last semester, has been further developed based on feedback from the evaluation: In addition to a concise two-hour presentation, an additional Q&A session now provides an opportunity to address your specific questions and case studies. The workshop is co-led by experts from all three UA Ruhr locations. [⏩ Registration]
New: Network across NRW - more options for your RDM training
Selected courses from the curriculum are open to participants across North Rhine-Westphalia this semester. For you, this means:
- networking beyond the UA Ruhr
- access to additional training courses offered by other universities
- a wider range of topics and more flexible scheduling
This initiative is part of the state-level RDM concept in North Rhine-Westphalia: The goal is to consolidate training offerings and make them accessible to researchers throughout the state. The state initiative fdm.nrw coordinates this network and supports the joint development and expansion of training programs. An overview of all training courses can be found on the state initiative’s website: https://www.fdm.nrw/fdm-schulungen
